AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): The President said that victory in the battle of wills depends on relying on God and said, "Contrary to the claim of the Arrogant who think that the world is formed according to their will, the Iranian nation showed that the nation that has been victorious".
Speaking on Saturday addressing mourners on the night of the martyrdom of Imam Ali (AS), Ayatollah Dr Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi referred to the Palestinian issue and said, "One day it was thought that the fate of the Palestinian nation would be decided around the negotiation table, but today the fate of Palestine is being decided by the warriors".
Referring to phrases from the will of Imam Ali (AS), the President said, "Imam Ali emphasises in his will that you should always stand by the oppressed and against the oppressors, saying, "Today we witness two great atrocities and crimes against Muslims; On the one hand, the Zionist Regime against the Palestinian worshipers, and on the other hand, crimes and oppression of ISIL, as a current created by the West and the Zionists, against the oppressed people of Afghanistan".
Referring to the Supreme Leader's enlightening remarks a few years ago that ISIL is a subsidiary of Western services and Zionism, the President said, "Today, as we are witnessing similar crimes by ISIL and the Zionist Regime against oppressed Muslims and worshipers in Al-Aqsa Mosque and mosques in Afghanistan".
Dr Raisi described the protection of the lives of all Afghans, including the Shiites, as the duty of the current rulers of this country and emphasised, "We call on the rulers of Afghanistan to defend the lives of the Muslim people of this country who are martyred in mosques".
Referring to the arrival of Quds Day, the President added, "The unity and solidarity of the Islamic community, which is one of the symbols of Quds Day, is increasing day by day thanks to God and the sincerity of Imam Khomeini".
Mr Raisi referred to the Supreme Leader's of Jihad of Enlightenment, saying, "Participating in Jihad of Enlightenment does not mean that we have no shortcomings, but it means that the explanation of hopeful facts and the separation of right from wrong".
